Terms of Service
Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Band Command ("we", "us", "our" or "Company"). By accessing and using Band Command (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Your Account and Band Access
Band Command is for coordinating working bands, including professional and commercial band activity. You may use the Service for your authorized bands, schedules, availability, and public publishing. Keep your account credentials secure and use only band information and content you have permission to access or share.
Plans belong to individual users, not bands. One person’s plan works across every band in which that person legitimately participates, on both web and iOS. A payment does not grant band membership, administrator privileges, or access to another person’s account. Purchases remain associated with the Band Command account used for the purchase; signing into a different account does not transfer them.
Free Collaboration and Pro Features
Free collaborators may sign in, join bands they are authorized to join, view authorized schedules, manage their own availability, and participate in existing member responses. Free collaboration is not a time-limited paid trial.
Pro access covers band creation, event scheduling and management, invitations, band settings, and proactive availability inquiries, subject to the user’s existing band role. Founders Lifetime includes Pro access. Features may be introduced or improved over time; the current offer describes what is available before purchase.
Plans, Prices, and Taxes
The standard U.S. prices are:
- Pro monthly: $8 USD per month per user, charged each month.
- Pro annual: $80 USD per year per user, charged as one annual payment.
- Founders Lifetime: $199 USD once per user, with no subscription or renewal fee.
You can purchase a plan when purchasing is available in the app or on the website. The billing provider displays the price, currency, billing period, and any applicable taxes before you confirm. Local App Store prices may vary by country or region. The amount shown for your purchase is the amount you authorize.
iOS purchases are billed by Apple through In-App Purchase. Web purchases are billed through Stripe. You do not need separate purchases for web, iOS, or each of your bands. Check your existing access before purchasing again.
Optional Add-ons
Some optional add-ons, such as scheduling text messages, may not be included in Pro or Founders Lifetime. They may have separate prices or usage limits. This also applies to complimentary Founder accounts. We will explain an add-on’s price, included usage, renewal terms if any, and limits before you choose it. An add-on charge requires your agreement; buying Pro or receiving Founder access does not automatically enroll you in a paid add-on.
Future features added to Pro are included in Pro and Founders Lifetime. Separately offered add-ons are distinct from those Pro features. Optional scheduling messages are also separate from security messages you request for account verification or password recovery. Carrier message and data charges may apply independently.
Founders Lifetime and Complimentary Founder Access
Founders Lifetime provides Pro access for the original account for as long as Band Command operates, including future features added to Pro, without a subscription or renewal fee for that access. Separately offered add-ons may not be included, as described above. It is an account entitlement, not ownership of the Service or a promise that the Service will operate forever. It cannot be transferred to a different person or Band Command account.
New Founders Lifetime purchases are offered for a limited time. There is no quantity cap. The end of the sales window does not end existing Lifetime access or prevent restoration of a valid earlier purchase.
Members of the eligible external TestFlight tester groups, including people added to those groups later, receive complimentary Founders Lifetime benefits after their tester identity is matched to their Band Command account. Complimentary access requires no purchase, payment, or renewal. Internal testing status alone does not establish eligibility. Contact us if your eligible account has not yet been matched.
When switching to Lifetime, turn off renewal of any existing Apple subscription associated with this Band Command account first. We check Apple’s renewal status before starting a Lifetime purchase; if we cannot confirm renewal is off, we do not start the purchase. Your existing paid Apple access continues through its expiration date. After a Lifetime payment is verified, we automatically stop future renewals of this account’s Band Command web subscriptions. Check Plan and billing for confirmation. If web cancellation is delayed, we retry automatically and flag persistent failures for our billing operator; you do not need to contact support to trigger cancellation. Apple renewal remains under your control: if it is still on, use Manage Apple subscription to turn it off. If Apple’s status cannot be confirmed, check it directly in Apple’s subscription settings. Do not purchase again to resolve a renewal issue. Lifetime is an additional one-time payment. Switching does not automatically refund or credit unused subscription time; the refund policy below still applies.
Renewal and Cancellation
Pro monthly and Pro annual renew automatically for their respective billing periods until canceled. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid the next charge. Apple may charge for renewal within the 24 hours before the next period begins, so allow time for cancellation. Signing out, uninstalling the app, leaving a band, or requesting account deletion does not by itself cancel a provider-billed subscription.
For Apple purchases, use Apple’s subscription settings to manage or cancel renewal. For web purchases, use Manage web subscription in Plan and billing, when available, or contact hello@band-command.com for help.
When you cancel renewal, paid access normally continues through the paid-through date shown in your account, unless the purchase is refunded, revoked, or otherwise no longer valid. Cancellation does not itself issue a refund. Any price change for future renewals will be disclosed in advance, with consent where required. A price change does not add a renewal fee to an existing Lifetime entitlement.
Refunds
Apple purchases: Request a refund through Apple’s Report a Problem service. Apple handles eligibility and approval under its purchase terms and applicable consumer law. See Apple’s refund instructions. Band Command cannot issue a refund for a purchase billed by Apple.
Web purchases: You may request a full refund within seven days of a charge by contacting hello@band-command.com with your Band Command account identifier and receipt or transaction reference. This window applies to initial payments, subscription renewal charges, and Founders Lifetime purchases billed on the web. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or full payment-card details.
Refunds are returned through the original payment provider. The time for funds to reach your payment method depends on that provider and your financial institution. After seven days, refunds for web purchases are not offered except where required by law. Unused time is not automatically prorated when you cancel.
A refund request alone does not cancel future renewal or change access. Cancel a recurring subscription separately if you want to stop future charges. A completed refund or revocation can end the access provided by that purchase; another valid paid entitlement or complimentary Founder grant remains independent. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights.
Failed Payments, Expiry, and Restoring Access
Paid access requires a valid, verified purchase or complimentary entitlement. An incomplete payment, purchase confirmation awaiting verification, failed renewal, or billing retry does not guarantee paid access. No additional grace period is promised beyond valid access shown in your account. If verification is delayed, refresh your plan or restore your Apple purchases while signed into the original Band Command account; contact us rather than purchasing again.
When paid access ends, you retain free collaboration subject to your band permissions. Subscription expiry alone does not remove band membership, historical band data, authorized schedule viewing, or the ability to manage your own availability. Band-role changes, account deletion, and action taken for misuse are separate from subscription expiry.
Your Content and Acceptable Use
You retain your rights in the content you provide. You give us permission to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the Service and follow your sharing and publishing choices. You are responsible for having permission to use names, photos, logos, schedules, and other content you provide.
Do not access accounts or bands without authorization, impersonate others, send unlawful or abusive material, misuse invitations or messaging, interfere with the Service, or bypass access controls. We may restrict access to protect users or the Service from misuse. These terms do not authorize copying or redistributing our software or branding, or reverse engineering where prohibited by applicable law. They do not restrict lawful use of your own band content or rights granted by applicable open-source licenses.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Band Command’s Service is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. Band Command makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
Limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Band Command and its suppliers are not liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the Service.
Accuracy of Materials
The materials appearing on Band Command's Service could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Band Command does not warrant that any of the materials on its Service are accurate, complete, or current. Band Command may make changes to the materials contained on its Service at any time without notice.
Links
Band Command has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its Service and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Band Command of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.
Modifications
We may update these terms and will publish the updated version and date on this page. We will give notice of material changes affecting paid access or billing before they apply, and obtain consent where required. Changes do not retroactively add subscription or renewal fees to existing Founders Lifetime access.
Applicable Law and Consumer Rights
These terms apply subject to applicable law. Nothing here excludes legal rights or remedies that cannot be waived, including applicable rights relating to refunds, cancellation, warranties, or service failure. Purchases billed by Apple are also subject to the applicable Apple Media Services terms. The iOS application is subject to the applicable App Store license, including Apple’s standard license where no custom license is provided.

Text Messages
When you request phone verification during signup, Band Command sends a one-time security code to the number you provide. This request is separate from the optional consent to receive ongoing band scheduling texts. If you choose scheduling texts, they may include gig and rehearsal bookings, changes, and cancellations. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to stop receiving texts or HELP for assistance, or contact legal@band-command.com. Stopping texts may prevent phone verification until another method is available. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
